The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year—a sacred threshold when the Sun enters Cancer. As the light reaches its peak, we are invited to celebrate the fullness of life, recognize what is flourishing, and reflect on what truly nourishes us as we move into the next season of growth.
This year's Solstice arrives alongside several significant astrological shifts.
Most notably, Chiron (the archetype of healing and wholeness) has just entered Taurus, beginning a new collective journey that will unfold over the next eight years. Questions of value, security, simplicity, creativity, and our relationship with the physical world may be coming into sharper focus.
What is truly worth your time, energy, and attention? What have you outgrown? What brings genuine joy and aliveness? How might you cultivate a deeper sense of inner security in a rapidly changing world? These are some of the questions Chiron in Taurus invites us to meditate on.
At the same time, the powerful evolutionary current of Uranus-conjunct-Sedna squaring the Nodes signifies a major choice-point for humanity. We are being offered the potential of a whole new paradigm for viewing the world, and the choices we make will matter more than ever. These energies invite us to release old patterns of anxiety and over-control and move toward greater trust, intuition, and connection with something larger than ourselves.
